Jody has been involved in computer technology marketing since 1971. In 1982, he joined with Chuck Blanton and three others in founding OGsys. His primary role in the company continues to be focused on product marketing.
A lifelong resident of Fort Worth, Texas, he attended Northside High before moving on to Texas A&M University on a golf scholarship and then graduating from UT-Arlington with a BBA. In 1971, he began his professional career at Olivetti Corporation where he experienced the introduction of mini-computer technology. As his experience and knowledge increased, he joined MSI Data, assisting in creating markets for bar-code technology commonly used in many segments of society today. His next venture was to join Sperry Corporation and then Honeywell, Inc. where he received several awards before joining forces with Chuck Blanton in opening the doors of OGsys.
After attending college on a golf scholarship, Jody continued competitive golf on both the amateur and professional level where he has won many events. Jody has designed and patented golf training devices, plus published a book titled
Afternoons with Mr. Hogan detailing life experiences with the golfing legend.
Jody and his wife have three sons and four grandchildren.
